Community Development Co-ordinator (Dementia)

Southern Brooks heads up the South Gloucestershire Dementia Action Alliance and we are passionate about helping people living with dementia, and their carers and loved ones, to live well . This area of our work began in 2014 with the creation of Patchway Dementia Action Alliance and Patchway Memory Café. The Café is now run independently and we now run the wonderful, lively Retreat Memory Café in Soundwell.

This opportunity, funded by South Gloucestershire Council and Clinical Commissioning Group (Integrated Care Systems) for 1 year, has arisen for an enthusiastic, organised and motivated individual to lead on work with people living with Dementia in South Gloucestershire.

We are looking for a passionate person with community development skills and experience who has an interest in dementia. The successful candidate will be pro-active and autonomous, a good organiser and a great communicator.

Salary and Hours: 21 hours per week at £24,442 per annum pro rata.
