Introduction to Working with Children Course – Horfield
Are you considering a career working with Children? Would you like to work in a nursery, school or a youth centre? This introduction course will provide you with an overview of good practice when working with children. It will cover the framework for safeguarding and child protection, equal opportunities, benefits of play, creativity and behaviour.
- How to be an effective children’s worker
- List the key benefits of play
- Understand child protection and safeguarding children
- Identify strategies for managing behaviour
2 hours per week for 6 weeks
What does it cost?
This course is FREE if you have less than a Level 2 qualification and aged over 19 years old.
