Course Overview

Are you concerned about the risks your child could be exposed to online?

This course is suitable if you are a parent and want to learn about keeping your child safe online.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the risks involved with your child using the internet
  • The trends in Apps, Gaming and Social Media channels used by children online
  • How to reduce the risks and setup parentals controls
  • Talking to your child about the risks
  • Resources to minimise risk and where to report problems


2 hours per week for 4 weeks


When and Where

  • 9th April 2018 – 12.30pm-2.30pm in Patchway
  • 7th May 2018 – 10am-12pm in Kingswood

What does it cost?

This course is FREE if you have less than a Level 2 qualification and aged over 19 years old.
