Introduction to Mindfulness - 4-Week Online Course
This course is a gentle introduction to core Mindfulness practices and an exploration of our own experience in the NOW.
Participants are also invited to undertake some Mindfulness practice out of class, as this can really help learning through experience. Handouts, and guided Mindfulness recordings will be provided.
Studies have shown Mindfulness to be helpful to people experiencing anxiety and depression. However, if you are currently experiencing acute mental health distress, this may not be the best time for you to learn Mindfulness.
If you have any concerns or queries, please get in touch, and we will arrange for you to talk with the course facilitator.
The session will last approximately 90 minutes.
About the facilitator
Georgina Green, has been teaching Tai Chi, wellbeing and mindfulness, in a local community setting, for a number of years. She is trained by Bangor University, and supported by the Mindfulness Network.
