As well as the mental health support available through the One You South Gloucestershire Wellbeing service, there is a range of mental health charities in Bristol and South Gloucestershire that can provide you with support as well. These mental health charities often provide more specialist support to meet your needs.
Kinergy was founded in 1996 and provides a range of counselling and support services to those that have experienced sexual abuse.
Kinergy provides a specialist and confidential long term counselling service to survivors of sexual abuse.
They provide it to anyone aged 16 or over living in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, BANES and North Somerset.
You can refer yourself by calling 0117 908 7712 - the current waiting time is approximately 7 months and they offer up to 24 sessions.
Kinergy offers a free drop-in coffee morning on the third Wednesday of the month between 11am-1pm. This is a group setting for survivors of sexual abuse to meet other people that have had similar experiences.
Kinergy provides 2 single-sex groups for men and women as well as a writing group.

Talking Therapies South Gloucestershire
Vita Health Group will be running the South Gloucestershire Talking Therapies (IAPT) service from the 1st September 2019. The Talking Therapy service provides a range of therapeutic interventions.
The new service is Vita Minds and is suitable for anyone with depression, anxiety and mental health issues.They offer low and intensity options which include workshops, self help, CBT, IPT.

The Willow Tree Centre
The Willow Tree Centre in Yate provides a 1-2-1 listening and free confidential service for women that experience difficulties with an unplanned pregnancy and pregnancy loss.
