Introduction to Mindfulness Workshops
These free sessions will introduce mindfulness techniques, which increase our awareness of experiences in the moment, and can empower us to better manage difficulties and enjoy our lives more fully. We will practice short meditations, and improve understanding around physical, emotional and mental activities, through observation and discussion.
This course is open to residents in South Glos and runs for 4 weeks. Please note that you will need to wear comfortable clothing.
Please be advised that though Mindfulness has been proven to be beneficial to people who experience depression and anxiety, it is not appropriate for people who are currently experiencing severe mental distress.
