Four Towns Summer Play Scheme
This information is for 2019.
During the summer holidays, Four Towns Play association runs a Free Play Scheme for children in:
- Bradley Stoke
- Stoke Gifford
Plus this year we have two locations who will be running session two days a week:
- Kingswood (Mondays and Wednesdays)
- Yate (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
The scheme provides a safe and fun environment for children to enjoy a range of activities including arts, crafts, sports and team games. The aim of the Play Scheme is to ensure children have fun over the summer and also to provide a break for parents.
The scheme is supported by an association of four Town Councils, Southern Brooks and local charities and businesses.
The play scheme offers free play for children from 5 - 11 years of age. We run for four weeks every summer. Sessions run from Monday through to Friday in Patchway, Filton, Bradley Stoke and Stoke Gifford and two days a week in Yate and Kingswood. Each location starts at 10.30am-12.30pm, closing for lunch and back in operation from 1.30pm-3.30pm.
It is essential children are collected during the lunch period as we are not covered by insurance.
The play scheme is designed to support children in the local area to play and learn in the presence of others in a safe and child-friendly environment.
Finally, the play-scheme is all about fun and encouraging the children and young people to learn and develop their skills through playing with others. We hope they have a brilliant time making friends and learning new skills as part of the four towns play association.
When you arrive at your first session you will need to complete one registration form for each child attending the playscheme. We will have them available on the day but if you want to download a copy click below:
