Gain confidence and skills to change things for the better in your family

If you have a child aged 8-12 and your family needs help with school attendance, getting back into work, overcoming barriers to good mental and physical health, you may be able to access our support.

One of our friendly, experienced workers will listen to you without making any judgements. Your knowledge and expertise will be valued and you’ll start being able to deal with your own problems. Sometimes, you just need a bit of support to do this.

Family support stories:

Read Amy's story of how Christmas was made extra special for her and her daughter when they received one of our Christmas hampers for families.

"The difference with Southern Brooks is it is hands on support with empathy, rather than dictating like the council services. You advise in a positive manner, it makes us believe we can achieve- you believed in me when I stopped believing in myself." Sue
