We're looking for a part-time Community Development Coordinator to join our energetic, passionate Community Development Team. Based in the small village of Little Stoke in the Parish of Stoke Gifford, South Gloucestershire, you will work with local residents, agencies and partners to bring people together through activities and events, to ensure Littler Stoke is a great place to live.

Being out and about in the community, there's a huge range of fun and exciting things that you will be involved in, and no two days are the same.

You'll be the go-to person for residents and community members, providing a wide variety of information, support and, in partnership with our Volunteer Coordinator, will help the community access volunteering opportunities.

In this role, you will:

• Provide Community Leadership: working in partnership with local groups.
• Raise Funding: to support community development.
• Build Relationships: within and across the community.
• Coordinate: Multi-Agency community development in Little Stoke.
• Engage People, Agencies and Partners: so that people feel they can influence decision making and champion the community voice.
• Advocate Volunteering: by sharing best practice and supporting people to access local opportunities.
• Support and Empower Residents: to project manage events, activities and sessions in the community.

There will also be opportunities for you to get together with the rest of the Southern Brooks wider team, by helping out at our fun events in the other South Gloucestershire communities we serve, or attending our whole staff meetings and events. We have annual Summer and Winter get togethers where the focus is on fun and connection and - importantly - switching off from our every-day work!

As a vital member of our team and in return for your expertise, commitment, and helpful and friendly approach, we will provide you with:

• A salary of £26,719 per year (pro-rata)
