Creating a fundraising event

Walking 1,000,000 steps, holding sports, gaming and community events, sponsored walks and cake sales are just some of the examples of fundraising events people have held to raise money for us.  This all helps us deliver high quality community development and health & wellbeing services to individuals and communities.  Money raised most recently has gone to support Memory Cafes, young people to improve their youth centre (Patchway) and Afghan families to buy fabric to make their own clothes plus seeds and gardening implements so they can grow their own food.

Without the hard work of the lovely people who set up these fundraising events, these things might not have happened.

If you would like to run a fundraising event for us, please email office@southernbrooks.org.uk. Include a brief description of the event/activity you will be organising. We will get back to you within 3 working days.

We’re always very grateful for the time and effort people put into planning and running a fundraising campaign for us.  We can support you with advice, if needed – and by promoting your event on our social media, thereby increasing your reach.
