Group Facilitator & Coach

Southern Brooks is looking for a Group Facilitator to join our Health and Happiness Hubs project — supporting adults across South Gloucestershire to improve wellbeing and health, set and achieve personal goals and connect with their community.

You’ll design and deliver creative, person-centred sessions on wellbeing and personal development topics, adapting your approach to meet diverse needs. You’ll also have a small caseload of clients who are unable to attend the hubs, providing one-to-one support in community settings such as cafés, libraries, and clients’ homes when appropriate.

We’re looking for someone who is flexible, organised, and person-centred, with experience in adult or community learning. You’ll need confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and other software, an understanding of GDPR and good record-keeping. Most of all, you’ll bring a sense of humour, a positive attitude, and a passion for empowering others.

Join a friendly, supportive team where your creativity and ideas will make a real difference.

There will also be opportunities for you to get together with the rest of the Southern Brooks wider team, by helping out at our fun events in the South Gloucestershire communities we serve, or attending our whole staff meetings and events. We have annual Summer and Winter get togethers where the focus is on fun and connection and - importantly - switching off from our every-day work!

As a vital member of our team and in return for your expertise, commitment, and flexible approach, we will provide you with:

  • A salary of £27,401 per year (pro-rata)
  • Excellent Annual Leave entitlement - starting at 5 weeks plus bank holidays per year (pro rata)
  • Great sickness benefits
  • A passionate, inclusive, committed and welcoming workplace
  • A flexible, hybrid, casual-dress work environment
  • And we will even give you a paid day off for your birthday!

Apply and register your interest in this Group Facilitator & Coach by 9am on Wednesday 28th January 2026.

Interviews will be held during the week commencing 9th February 2026.

Please send all enquiries to: recruitment@southernbrooks.org.uk

We look forward to hearing from you!
