Volunteering Support

Do you live in South Gloucestershire and would like support finding a volunteer role?

Whether you're looking to meet new people, learn new skills or would just like to help out, by sharing your time and energy, you can make a real difference in your local communty and beyond.

If you're not sure about what kind of volunteer role you'd like to do, try this quiz. It takes under 5 minutes and might help you decide what roles would suit you best.  https://icould.com/buzz

You can contact us to ask about local volunteer roles, we're here to support you. Our Volunteer Coordinator can chat to you about your interests, what you'd like to gain from volunterering, your availability and where you'd like to volunteer.

You might not have volunteering experience but we're here to explain what volunteering means and what to expect. Different volunteering roles have different expectations. For example, some roles like a weekly commitment and other roles ask for particular skills or qualities which are important to doing the role safely. If you need more details about a particular role, we can also call ahead, help with applications, or find out more information on your behalf.

If you live in Kingswood, Yate, Patchway, Filton and The Stokes and would like to volunteer in South Gloucestershire or Bristol, contact Jess on jessicabrassington@southernbrooks.org.uk or 07969 189485.
