Community Development Coordinator (Environmental Sustainability)

Are you interested in promoting environmental sustainability in communities throughout South Gloucestershire? If so, we want to hear from you. Southern Brooks is looking for a Community Development Coordinator (Environmental Sustainability) to join our energetic team, to work with local residents, agencies and partners to bring people together through activities and events to promote environmental sustainability.

If you were already in this in this Community Development role, you might be doing some of these things this week: 

  • Provide community leadership working in partnership with local groups involved in environmental sustainability 
  • Raise funding to support community development approaches towards environmental sustainability
  • Build relationships with and between community environmental groups
  • Promote opportunities for social action including encouraging environmental sustainability champions

To apply, you will need to be a persistent and reliable conduit for introductions and linking people with others, groups, and activities in relation to environmental sustainability.
