Based in Trinity Garden, at Trinity Church (beside the church hall) on Kingswood High Street, this new community food growing project is now gaining momentum, we are clearing a waste land to grow food for a local community fridge, which gives food to people who are struggling with the increased cost of living.

This project was created by the "We are BS15" community group - volunteers who are now cooking affordable food in a community kitchen they have set up. Southern Brooks is working in partnership with this group, to support this worthy project.

There will be weekly gardening workshops on Thursday 11-1pm, led by an experienced facilitator. These sessions will aim to teach people about growing and nature, help to develop the food growing capacities of the site, and offer opportunities to learn wellbeing skills to support good mental and physical health.

We are also looking for volunteers who can turn up out of session to help maintain and develop the site, and also water the plants in Summer.
