5 Ways to Wellbeing Workshops
These interactive workshops will help you explore each of the five ways to wellbeing covering a different theme every week:
Understand the benefits of connecting with people. Where and who to connect with people around you. The importance of connecting with yourself. Building positive relationships.
Understand the benefits of being active. Examples of day-to-day activities that you can do anywhere. How to become more active and find local activities that you enjoy and make them part of your life. How to access Active in Life.
Understand how learning new skills can give you a sense of achievement and new confidence. The different ways you can learn. Where to access free courses locally and online.
Understanding how giving can improve your wellbeing. The smallest act can count, whether it's a smile, a thank you or a kind word. Different ways of giving. Reasons for volunteering and where to volunteer locally.
How to take notice of your surroundings. Be more aware of the present moment, including your thoughts and feelings, your body and the world around you. Understand how mindfulness can benefit your wellbeing.
1-2-1 Support Session
There is an opportunity for a 20 minute 1-2-1 support session with a wellbeing worker after the workshop. This could include putting together an action plan to help you access the benefits of adopting a ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing’ approach.
