Take Notice

Evidence suggests that taking notice of the present moment helps to improve our wellbeing, so we've put together a list of ideas that can help people to do that. We haven't listed many hobbies that give people something to focus on though, as there are just too many of them! But anything enjoyable that takes your mind off other things could also go here.

Sarah has been running the online meditation sessions, and recorded a few of her guided visualisations for us to turn into a video.

Green Spaces

Contact Georgina Green to book a place:
Green Spaces are running two community allotments until the end of September:
  • Patchway Community Allotment is running every week on Wednesdays 10.30am - 12.30pm, on Blakney Road.
  • Kingswood Community Allotment is running every week on Wednesdays 2pm - 4.30pm, at Pound Road Allotments.
They are growing fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers to share. Tools and gloves are provided, but please wear sturdy shoes. Social distancing, and coronavirus safety precautions have been taken, so please bring your own refreshments.
